Getting to Romania - the Romanian Visa
General information regarding the conditions of entry on the territory of Romania

 

1. By air
Bucharest: Henri Coanda Airport
Transfer Bucharest-Tulcea-Bucharest is free for participants and accompanying person.
The International Airport Bucharest Henri Coanda is situated 16.5 km from Bucharest. Regular and charter flights of Romanian air carriers (TAROM is the national airline) or the foreign airlines (Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France ...) connect Bucharest to the world`s major airports.


2. By train - (www.cfr.ro)
International express trains connect the main central European capitals with Bucharest.
The train can reach Tulcea by the routes: Bucharest-Medgidia-Tulcea and Constanta-Tulcea.

 

3. By car the journey is about 280 km and can be reached on the route: Bucharest-Urziceni-Slobozia-Harsova-Tulcea (DN22/E87). For those coming from Braila, buses/minibuses depart from Smardan village, and for those coming from Galati leave from IC Bratianu village (ferry crossing station).

 

4. By ferry from Istambul (Turkey) and Volos (Greece).
