Conference venue

Romania it is a member of the European Community and is situated in the southeastern part of Central Europe and shares borders with Hungary to the northwest, Serbia to the southwest, Bulgaria to the south, the Black Sea and Ukraine to the southeast and to the north and the Republic of Moldova to the east.

Târgoviște is a city in Romania, being the county seat of the Dâmbovița County and it was capital of Wallachia between the early 15th century and the 16th century.

How to get to Targoviste
First of all, you have to reach Bucharest, the capital city of Romania.

 

1. By air 

BucharestHenri Coanda Airport

 

Transfer Bucharest Airport – Targoviste - Bucharest is free for participants. Transfer the participants persons will be made ​​by bus. The program will be communicated later. The International Airport Bucharest Henri Coanda is situated 16.5 km from Bucharest. Regular and charter flights of Romanian air carriers (TAROM is the national airline) or the foreign airlines (Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France ...) connect Bucharest to the world`s major airports.

 

2. By train 

International express trains connect the main central European capitals with Bucharest.

If you attend by air from "Henri Coandă" International Airport you have to reach Gara de Nord.

The 780 Express line connects Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport with Gara de Nord (main railway station).  You can take the 780 Express line in front of the Arrivals Terminal and Departures Terminal.

From Gara de Nord you have to reach Targoviste Railway Station. The train can reach Targoviste by the routes: Bucharest-Titu -Targoviste.

 

3. By car the journey is about 80 km and can be reached on the route: Bucharest-Racari-Targoviste.

 

Getting to Romania - the Romanian Visa 

General information regarding the conditions of entry on the territory of Romania.

The conference delegates are responsible to achieve entry visa to Romania.

In the case of clandestine immigration or any ilegal activities, we cannot accept responsibility. Be aware that all the information given is liable to be transmitted to the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For the participants from countries which require visa for entry in Romania, please read the information on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (how to obtain a visa, exceptions from need a visa - a visa valid U.S., Schengen ...) as well as the above information. The organizers do not submit/pay letters of invitation or guarantee for the participants and do not obtain visas from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Romanian Office for Immigration.
